My Favirote Book

What subject do you hate in your school life? For me, it's MATH!! I really didn't want to study it because I didn't know why I must learn math. What is good for me? The everything that I studied from math never be useful. Studying math is only too hard for me.

But one day, I found a interesting book. It is written about math in Japanese. However in my surprised in spite of writing about math there are characters in this book . It is story of math. I'm interested in this book and borrowed. The main characteris a theorem called Fermat's last theorem. If you want to know this theorem, please look over dictionary. Anyway this is the key in this story.
Fermat's last theorem is called the demon theorem because it involved so many people's lives.

Ferman't last theorem was found by Fermat in 1600. He is an amateur mathematician, but the intuition and inspiration is talented. He always think about new way of math. And one day he got interesting theorem, and he wrote down it and died. He wrote that I found wonderful way to prove this last theorem, but it is too small to write down all.

From then, all people in world began to be immersion in solving Fermat's last theorem. To solve this demon theorem is very honorable. However in the other words it is too difficult. Some people get key to beat this devil, but almost people spent all their lives for this devil and died with nothing. This devil involve many people and made them mad. In my surprised, 350 years have passed since 1600. And the 20 century one grodigious man finished proof!!!

I don't read books so much, but while I read this book I can forget time. I'm very impressed because a small formula and theorem have so many people's lives in its back. In fact to find the meaning for study math, but it it true many lives were sacrificed to find many formula. We should be proud of this truth and keep studying math for convey this grand history of mathmatics.

BR1-13 The Stories of Snowman

It is hot these days! So, I choose this book because I would feel cool!! In this story, there is one snowman. I know what is snowman, but I have not made it because my hometown Kagoshima doesn't have snow. I don't like winter because of cold, but I want to make very big snowman!!


In this story there is one boy named Jack. He made one snowman and named him Chilly. Chilly has two black peddles for eyes, four more for smiley mouth, stick in a carrot for nose, and hat and scarf. One day, Jack heard that the Christmas party will be taken place near his house. And in the party people will make big fire with bonfire. Jack helped to make bonfire. However, the next morning, Jack found that the bonfire moved to other places. Jack returned the bonfire, but the next day the bonfire moved another places. Jack felt terrible. So he decided to find the offender. One night, Jack listened strange sound from his garden. He went out and get surprised. In his surprised, his snowman, Chilly, was moving bonfire. Let’s think why Chilly have to move the bonfire. It is because he will be melted by fire!! It is too dangerous. Chilly is cleared, so he know he is made in Snow!!


If I were Chilly I would do same. In the picture of this book is so cute. Chilly is big, but he is kind. Now it is summer in Japan, but in this winter If I have chance to go to another prefectures which have snow!!

My Favorite Music Game

Do you know "Pop'n Music" game? You can find this if you go to the amusment center. When I was 14 years old, my friend told how to play this game. In this game you can see colorful characters named "Pop". Pop is falling in time with music, so you push same color button to Pop with music. The colors are red, blue, green, yellow and white. You can watch these buttons on left and right symmertrically.

You can choose how many buttons you use. I always use 9 button, but at first it is a little hard. If you play Pop'n Music for the first time, 5 button is OK. If you want to play with your friend, you can choose three button. It is battle mode. It is easier than 5 button mode or 9 button mode. You can play this fun game with 100 yen!! And you also play with 3 or 4 music. Some are origial music of Pop'n misic, but there are popular song. If you know the music or song, it is sure for you to clear the stage. Let's try it☆

Who am I?

In June, I took guidance for getting jobs in KGU. And I could learn to know my self is the most important for job hunting. Fortunately, the section for hunting job tells us good information!! Yesterday, I got a letter from school, and it tells that some academic unit for job hunting will be established in this summer. This year business activities are so bad, we must prepare as fast as we can. I'm always afraid if I can get job in the future. However these guidance or important information always supports me. It is so lucky environment. Sometimes, my mother or father call and encourage me.


Actually, it is true to know myself is important for getting job. So, I would like to analyze me self in this summer vacation. Who am I? What do I like? What can I do? What is my strongest point and weakest point? I have to understand myself in detail. It needs much time, but I can get courage. If you are also junior, let's analyze yourself!!!

BR1-12 MEN IN BLACK

This title is well known all over the world!! Do you know it? Men in Black is an exciting movie with famous actor and actress. In this movie Tommy Lee Jones played as "Kay", Will Smith as "Jay". They are so cool!! I love them and story. When I found this book in the library I soon borrowed it. I don't like to read book so much, but I could read so smoothly this book. I would tell the story generally.

In this book there are two main men, Key and Jay. Their work is to police the Earth from aliens. In my surprised, aliens can go in the Earth and out freely. All of the people in the Earth never known this truth thanks for MIB. MIB is the organization that Kay and Jay are working. All staff in MIB always wears Black suit, black shoes and black glasses. One day when they are working as usual, the alarm was sound!! Almost aliens in New York started leaving from. "Something wrong has happened" Kay and Jay thought, and went for research. In the research they realized the worst alien came to the Earth. The name of alien is Bug. It is large cockroach. He came to this planet to get Third Galaxy for the downfall of the Earth. Two Men in Black got ready for the fight. Bug was very large and strong. Kay was eaten by Bug, and Jay fought to help Kay in the stomach of Bug. Fortunately, they could win Bug and the peace of Earth was defended.


I can't state the view in my English. It is good for you to watch the Movie. There are some unpleasant scenes. However you can feel aliens is near. I like the character of Kay and Jay. MIB and MIB Ⅱare rented in rental offices. If you have opportunities, please borrow the DVD!!!

☆My Desire for the Stars☆

In Japan,　July 7th is called "Tanabata"!!　When I was child, every year my father took the bamboo from hill, and hung up colored stripe of sticks of bamboo. I kept this custom till the age of eremently school, but after then, I stopped it.

However at the Kumamoto station I found stripes for Tanbata. I felt a little dear and I read all desire. Some of them are very interesting. For example, "I want to get 100 thousand yen", "Please stop to retire my father's job!! ", "Don't take mt father!!"and so on. Some of them are a little serious. But some are very enjoyable. I kept my smile while I was in Kumamoto Station.

What is your desire for the stars? I would like to state my desire in short.
This summer I'm going to challenge to get some degrees, for example, TOEIC, certifying examitation of Japanese and so on. I have to practice for mandolon cello, but itis not all. I must not do only playing instrument. And my wish for stars is to be able to get all degrees. I thinkit a littel hard, but I will do my best. I'm sure that this summer is good oppotunities for my future.

BR1-11 Gulliver's Travels

When I was child, I loved travel stories and movies. I have heard this title many times, so I can choose this book in the library. It is a little long story but it is not difficult for me to read this book because I've already known all stories.


The main character is Gulliver which loves travel and adventure. One day when he is in ships, a very strong storm hit the ship! He lost his way and arrived at one island called Lilliput. He woke up in this strange island and find differences. In his surprised, all things in this island are small!! People, food, building and plants, anyway all things is much smaller than Gulliver. All people surprised to Gulliver. At first they were cautious each other, but soon get good friends. Gulliver solved same problems among natives. The king of Lilliput thanked for Gulliver.
However, not all people were welcoming him. Some people criticized this big man because Gulliver were very expensive. So they decided to kill Gulliver!! Gulliver were so surprised and far away soon. The people who like Gulliver get surprised and felt sad, but they helped him to leave the island. Thanks for their helps, Gulliver could make ships and leave. Before leaving Gulliver get small caws and coins as a proof which he stayed at Lilliput. He said thankful word to good people, and could get his hometown.

Gulliver is same size to us. If we go to the island named Lilliput, we might be surprised. This book includes 2100 words. It was a little long, but I could read stories without caring time. And this book has CD. You can feel Gulliver's Travel at your side.

The Worst Day in My Life

It is a little difficult for me decide which is the worst day in my life because I don’t have bad day so much. Perhaps I only forget the day. However I have one day which I don’t want to remember. It is when my dog died. I can’t forget the day and sight.


My dog’s name is Baku. Baku is same age to me. Ever since I can remember Baku always stays with me. Sometimes I bait Baku, and Baku also bites me. My brother always takes care of Baku. He loves Baku and after school he is sure to take a walk with his dog. I often follow them. Baku is my family member. Time is fast, and when I noticed the ten years had passed. Baku and me were ten years ago. Unfortunately, Baku got sick. I didn’t remember the sick’s name, but day by day Baku got weaker.


One summer day, when I came back to home, I found a box near the entrance. I felt strange and open the box, at the moment I realized all. In the box Baku was lying, but he never moves. He never laps my face or bite my hand. At the moment when I think so, I couldn’t stop weeping. I could not believe the fact, and my brother did, too. I had never seen my brother cries, but the day he cried loudly. I can’t forget the sight even now.


About ten years have passed from Baku’s death. No pet is in my house. However in my room and my hometown, there are pictures of Baku. Even if Baku had died he is our family. All member of my family are sure to think so.

Music Festival!!

June 27th, at Kumanoto Prefectual Theater, Music Festival(MF) 42nd was taken place. This is the stage which all music club of KGU play. We always hold MF in June, and this stage is the first performance for freshmen. However, Mandolin Club isn't so. From this year we decided that freshman of mandolin club can't play in MF because the skill is not full. We want freshman to do basic practice. So this year we played high skill music with only upper class students.

We played "Godzilla", "He is a pirates", "Summer " and "Ashitaka Sekki". All of four are popular music, so if we make some mistakes, the audience will recognize. It is hard for us. But we practiced on average 3~4 hours every day. We garadually get confidence. And on the stage I could play all music without hurrying. After our stage, many people praise us. It is very happy. This MF has no regret, I think.

Furthermore, I have the other duty an the captain of Mandolin Club. Every year, the session of dean is put in the program. Look the picture. At this stage I danced with this costume!! It was ver embarassed, but very comfortable. This day is the most memorable day in my life!!

BR1-10 The Musicians of Bremen

I have heard this title several times, but not read. Usually the Musician means the group of people who love music. However the musicians in this book are animal!! They are so cute.

In this story 4 animals, donkey, dog, cat, rooster, are main characters. They are unhappy because of their owner. He always hurt them. One day, the ill owner said to rooster the he would get it and put in pot for the lunch! The rooster was afraid and talked with his friends. and they decided to run away there and go to the town. On the way, they found a small house. There were food and drink, and also gang of robbers. They were a little afraid of robbers but decided to enter enemy territory. With big voices they burst into the room. The robbers were very surprised and run away. The 4 animals could eat and drinks, and stayed there for the rest of their lives.

I love all of 4 animals. They are so cute and brave. And I hate the owner!! It is unbelievable to be mean to cute animal. Do you think so??

Hair Model

Look at this picture! It's me!!

Why was I wearing these dress and hair style? I wrote the reason before post. This Monday the contest for barber was taken place. And I took part in this contest as hair model! My hair is like work of art. I can't forget this day, and I would like to write about this memorable day.

This contest was opened at 10 stories of Tsuruya. I got up at 7 a.m. and prepared, for example washing hair, making up and so on. After that I went the hall with assigned barber, and change clothes into the costume. At 12:30 the contest started. During making, I must not move my head for the judgment. It is a little hard. My waist became gradually more hurt. However I felt very pleasantly. All people in the hall were paying attention me! After judgment many people asked me whether they could take pictures. I got tense very much, but I think this is valuable experience.

Fortunately, I could get the first prize!! I can entry the national contest! I'm thankful for the barber. I want to get the first prize in national contest, too.

Challenging

Since last Saturday, my mother had visited in my room. She came to attend the guidance for juniors, and see the hair concert. I will write about the contest in the other post.


My mother likes to talk and me, too. Before we go to bed, we always talked about many things for about two hours. Her talk is enjoyable and valuable. I can learn something from her. I love my mother as a woman and a person.


Last night we talked about my future. I told her everything that I'm always afraid of. In fact, I don't know what to do for getting the job. Recently I also don't know even own ability. My mother told such me, "From now, you should challenge various things. You have many good point, and you have to realize these points. Don't find high revel job. Find jobs which match you. You don't have to hurry. Think deeply for your future."


I was spending with no mean till now. I could get bravery and drive from her message. I thank for my mother, and I want to spend valuable time for my future.

Gold Hair!

I think some people have already known that my hair color had changed. I have never dyed my hair. However as you can see, now my hair is gold. There is a reason for my hair color. I changed my hair color because I will act as hair model this Monday. My hair will be as work of art.

At first I don't want to go anywhere because of my hair. I always think I would be looked down. But actually when I met friends, they were very surprised but commend my hair. I felt relieved. I could courage myself. After the contest, I will make the post about it. To be continued...

BR1-9 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

In my childhood, I love to read abroad old tales. Of course these are written in Japanese. And my favorite story is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. When I found this book written in English at the library, I was very happy and soon decided to rent. However after reading I realized some different point between "Japanese Snow White" and "Original Snow White." I will explain a little.


At first, I was surprised because the bad queen is the mother of Snow White. I can't believe that the queen tried to kill her daughter! Sometimes old tales are cruel. The queen killed her daughter with poisoned apple. It is same to Japanese one. But after that is a little different. The bad queen died because she fell from cliff. However in this book how to die is not same. In this tale the bad queen was killed by prince who fell in love with Snow White. The prince took hold her and made her put burning-hot iron shoes on her feet. The queen made her dance to death. How cruel!!!


I love this book because Snow White recovered with the kiss of prince. But it is also different. Snow White could wake up because the coffin bumped against trees and piece of poisoned apple flew out from her throat!! I think it is interesting but a little practical.


Through this story I could find reading old tales in English is interesting because there are some differences. I can rent some other books in the library, I would like to keep reading and reviewing in my blog.

No Music, No Life??

June 14th, I appeared two music concerts. One was taken place an Uto. The other was at Kengun Bunnka Center. Both were mandolin concert. Now, I think to appear two concerts in a day are a little hard, but I could feel pleasure.

One concert is Ajisai Mandolin Concert. Ajisai is called Japanese hydrangea in English. There were many Ajisai, and I could see the sea in front of the stage. It was beautiful. Playing mandolin with Ajisai and sea was comfortable! However, sometimes strong wind blew and the sheet music was turned up, unfortunately. Through this concert, I could have new friends. I could meet various generation people. After the performance, audience said it was great!! I was grad. Others of mandolin club looked happy.

The other concert is private. I appeared as an individual, not mandolin club member. In fact I'm a member of a quartet named "Hathigenn Koubou(八絃工房)". I was a little tired because of Ajisai Concert, but I could do my best. At the practice, I could not play well, but in this day, I could best playing!!

If I'm asked that what is your symbol of my university life, I will answer it is Mandolin. Mandolin could be separated with my life. It will be continued forever.

BR1-8 The Little Red Hen

This story is a little ironical, but provocative.

The main character is a little red hen. She lived on a farm in a little white hen house. She had three friends, a glossy black cat, a big noisy duck, a fat brown rat. One morning, the little hen found some grains of wheat. When she found, she hit upon a good idea! She can eat bread with these grains! So, she asked to her friends. "Who will help me plan the wheat?" But three friends said only "Not I". The red hen asked many times. "Who will help me cut the shoots down?" "Who will help me take the wheat to the mill?" "Who will help me make the flour into bread?" She asked to help many times! However, her friends answered "Not I". The red hen got angry and said "Fine! I will do by myself!!" And at last she had baked the BREAD by ONLY herself. The bread was warm and soft. The red hen asked her three friends "Who will help me eat the bread?" At the moment she said so, three friends said "I'll eat the bread!" with smile. However, the red hen cried "Oh, no you won't! I'll eat it ALL BY MYSELF!!" And she did.

I think this story is pleasant. And I learnt we can't get anything without suffer hardships. It is thoughtless to want something with no cost. Her three friends could recognize the importance of cooperation. If my friends need my help, I will help them. And I want to share our joys and sorrow.

My Memorable Day in My Life

It is a little hard for me to decide which day is the most memorable. I have many memorable day in my memory. Sometimes, I think memory is good things, but it is not always. There are some bad memorable days in life. And I will explain about sometimes good memory and sometimes bad memory of my high school life.


The bad memory began when I enter the Kagoshima central school. Kagoshima Central high school is third school in Kagoshima but some people always say this school is hell on earth. Then why I entered this school? Because I was always said that I couldn’t pass the entrance examination. I felt so disappointed and frustrated, and I decided to pass the test. Fortunately, I could pass. It is one of the memorable day. My parents and teacher were pleased with success in the examination. However, studying is very hard for me. The first class begins at 7:30 a.m. and I had to prepare for all lessons. After I back home, my head is full of so many home works.


In such a distressing every day, I have the only pleasure. It is club activity. I was a member of Kyudo club. There are 6 members. We were very good friends each other. After graduation, sometimes we promise to meet and talk in Kagoshima. During high school life, Kyudo is a emotional support for me. If I were not the member, I would leave school. I am so thankful for Kyudo club.


These two memorable days told me many good things. I can recognize the importance of making extra special effort. To accomplish something is a hard work, but after finished, it is essential treasure for me. Because I entered Kagoshima Central High School, I could be stronger than then. I want to make the most of this difficult and significant time.

My Favorite Character

Before, I explained about one of my favorite character, "Kapibarasan". I have many stuffed toy, key ring and so on. But recently I find new cute character. He is very favorite among young people. When I was a child, he was always in TV!! Look at the picture. It is Gatyapinn!! Do you know him? At the first I don't like him so much, but these days I like his pretty eyes and red body. If you attach the keyring with your house key or bag, you never leave it anywhere because of the color. You can meet him near store. How about challenge??

BR-1-7 Billy Goast Gruff

In this book, there are three goats. They are brothers and live in on the farm. The youngest was Beanie. He was small and skinny, always hungry. The middle brother was Bertie. He was crazy about sports. And the oldest was Biffer. He was big and strong and looked after his brother.

One day, these brothers decided to go to the Juicy field because in the farm there is not much food. However, the other animals tried to stop them because there is scary Troll!! But brothers didn't want to give up, and left for Juicy field. However, as expected, the Troll appeared and said to three goats "I will eat you because I am hugry!!　"The two youngest goat, Beanie and Bertie was too afraid to say nothing. "I don't want to be eaten!!" At the moment, the oldest brother, Biffer, stand against the Troll. Biffer lowered his head and caught the Troll in his horns, and Troll landed with an enormous splash. He sank under the water!! The oldest brother could win!!

I have one brother. When I was young, I always was taken care of by him. Sometime we fought each other, but now, I think to have brother is wonderful. Perhaps, the two youngest goats, Beanie and Bertie might think so, too.

Next Stage

Look at the picture!! This book is my friends in my high school days. The name is Next Stage! This is a book of reference for English. I think that I would not use this book in my university life, but in my surprised, I have to use because of test of TOEIC!! I was going to buy original book. However one teacher said that it is OK to use books which I used in high school. At the first, I felt a little strange. I thought I have to guy new one, but I was wrong. I don't have much money for new books. So it is good for me to use old book!! I will do my best for TOEIC test in this weekend.

MY FAVORITE CHARACTER

When I was high school student, I met KAPIBARA-san at the game center for the first time. Kapibara is written "capybara" in English. They are rodents and the biggest mouse on the Earth. The real capybara likes mouse, but KAPIBARA-san is so cute. I have many stuffed toy and key ring.

Recently, I'm crazy for KAPIBARA-san. Whenever I go to game centers I always play UFO catcher to get KAPIBARA-san goods. However, sometimes I spend too much money. So, I'm trying not to go game center. I have three big stuffed toy of KAPIBARA-san. Whenever I go to bed, I am with KAPIBARA-san. They are my good partner!

I am going to act as a model for hair. June 21th is the first tournament. And if I will pass, I can entry national meets in Kyoto. The hair model have to value own hair. And my stylist encouraged me good shampoo and conditioner. The picture is them. We can't buy them at store. If you want, please go to beauty salon.

Now, my hair is dyed right brown. Someone is the color is gold!! Anyway, my hair color is so right and my hair is so damaged. So I have to use this shampoos. This shampoo is good for hair color. After a bath my hair is so silky! If you have a chance, please try this☆

My Old Good Friend From Kagoshima

Sometimes, I feel a little sad when I am alone in my room. But it is not all. From March 26th to 27th my old friend named Haruna came to my room. In this spring, she graduated from a junior college, and she works at driving school as a staff member. Because she can get holidays for about a week she can come to Kumamoto. I want to take her many places but I have to go school for classes or club.


She is very interested in my university life, so yesterday, she went to my class together. And she went to the room of Mandolin Club. She also like music and can play the piano. By chance a old piano is in the room, so we could enjoy playing music. Haruna said to me the tune of Mandolin is so goood. She loves it. I was very happy.


At the night, we went to bar for the dinner. I took her to my favorite bar named Ikkenya. This is near the KGU. And my favorite food of the bar is Antonio. A Japanese hackberry is used to make Antonio. It is delicious. Let's try it. Haruna was pleased for Antonio.
After the dinner, we talked about many things in my room. I think this time is most enjoyable during this staying. I talked about each life.


Overnight is too short to enjoy Kumamoto for my friends. When she leave for, she said to me that in this summer she will come again. I am looking forward to the day!!

The Publicity of Music Festival

One big music entertainment is held in June 27th. It is called Music Festival. This festival is traditional event in KGU. There are 7 musical club in KGU. Each club has each regular concert in November or December. These concert isn't combined. However this Music Festival is united! It is very big and wonderful festival of music. My mandolin club will play good mandolin music. The date is Saturday. It you have time, please come to Kenritsu Gekijyou!! You need 400 yen as an fee, but I think this performance is of grate value! Thank you.

BR1-6 Stories of Pirates

I always think that the pirates is extremely and cruel. Some Japanese comic adopt pirates as themes. I know real pirates are cruel, but I love pirates' stories. This kind of story is very enjoyable. And this book was a lot of fun, too.

The main character is a young boy named Charlie. He had spent the last ten years at Pirate school. His dream is to be the strongest pirates. For this dream, he got one good friend. It is a parrot. Charlie knows parrot is good at finding treasures. However, whenever Charlie try to thief treasures, the parrot always cries to stop thief. Because of this strange parrot, Charlie can 't be the strongest pirates. He was put out so much. However, he hit upon nice idea. It is to use the parrot for arresting the bad people. At first, Charlie felt uneasy. But the idea was successes. Charie could be the excellent guardsman in the town thanks for the parrot.

I think the working is depends on the character, and Charie dosen't suit pirates. In the book he is very hard work and kind boy. I don't know real pirates, but Charie should not be pirates. I think he should thanks for parrot.

The Princess Of Mononoke

Nobody doesn't know this movie. I like this movie very much. When I was 12 years old, I watched this at the theater. The theme of this movie is environmental problems and fight between people and living in the forest. I want to introduce this story a little.

The main character is a young man named Ashitaka. He would be the head of his village, but he had to leave for west village because of a spell. He get the spell from one big wild boar. It was so injured and at last it became TATARIGAMI. Ashitaka left his village and got to one large settlement called "Tataraba". Ashitaka could found the reason of Tatarigami. He also could recognize the fight between people and forest called "Shishigami's forest". The fight happened because people in Tayaraba cut down the tree of forest. The living in forest was very angry. They decided to kill all people of Tataraba.

A young woman named San is one of them. She is people, but she was glowed up by the dog god. She is man but bear people very much. Ashitaka and San encountered in this war. And Ashitaka decided to stop this war for not only Tataraba but also Shishigami's forest. Can Ashitaka solve these progrems?

I love this story, but I also love the music! The music was made by Hisaishi Jyo. He made almost music of Jiburi's movies. I think the music express stories. The School Days!

My part time job is teaching English and Math to junior high school students. I am only university student, I'm also teacher for them. And teaching is not only my work. Today is my work day. Today's my job is　to go to sports day and cheer my students! Today is good for the sports day. It was a little hot, but it was not rainy. I went to three junior high schools for three hours.

Recently, because of some extremely crime, people can't enter school. It is same at sports day. At entrance some guardsman was standing. I couldn't see students easy because there are some ropes between we and students. Compared with my childhood, school days are not free so much. However all students was enjoying their sports day. I got a sudden surge of nostalgia for my youth.

A man student named Kazato had the position of the leader of a supporter's group. Whenever he met me, hr always said the practice is very hard, and he was tired very much. I kept encouraging him. He is not good at studying, but he is very hard worker. And I was looking forward to watching his big day-his captain of supporter’s group. His performance was excellent!! And other students were glad of my watching them. I will go next year!!

What Can I Do For You ??

All of my friends know that I love MATSUYAMA KENICHI. Do you know him? If you don't, I am a little sad. It is not late! You should know him!! He is a talented actor. He is 24 years old and from Aomori prefecture. I saw him in one famous movie, Death Note. He appeared in this movie as L, very capable detective. At the moment when I watched this movie, I became charmed by him. And from the day I devote him! I have all DVD which Kenichi M appears, and collect cut out an articles of him. I have never missed the TV program he performs. I love Matuyama Kenichi so mush.

However one day a sad news came to me. In fact I keep part time job as teacher in a prep school, and my student gave ne the news.
"Do you know that Matsuyama Kenichi has a girl friend??"
I stood and gaze her. I can't believe it because I had never watch the news in newspaper or TV program. I smiled and said "It is a lie."


A week later, I realized I was wrong. At some news program, the information was reported. In my surprised, the partner is Koyuki!! She is 8 older then Kenichi. However she is very beautiful. I thought I had to give up him. I told this sad happening to my friends. They encouraged me. One friend said "Kenichi is learning about woman's hart for you!!" I'm happy to have good friend.
Recently I often think what can I for Kenichi. In fact, I don't want Kenichi to be happy with Koyuki. But I think I must hope his happiness. What is his happiness? For this question, I will answer "It is to be with Koyuki". Hope your happiness, Kenichi!!

This story is for very mischievous girl, I think. The main character of this story is like that. Through this story I can remind the importance of honest.

Polly is the princess of one country. Her parents believe that the princess should be refined girl and their girl, she is polly, also should be like that. However, their daughter betraies their hopes. Polly love to play with hoses and one day she got back home with making her dress mud!! Her parents, king and queen got mud and said, "Princesses must not gallop!!" However she always think that being a princess is boring. She can do anything because she is princess.

One day, she found a paper on the wood. It is a poster about Pony Games. Polly knows if she say she want to join the game, her parents never permit her. So, she decided to join the race with keeping the secret. On the day of the race, princess Polly put in her costume and crept outside, and galloped away to Strawberry Hill, it is site of race. Polly got there just in time. The race was about to begin. With the single to begin, all players were off. They splashed through puddles and leaped over hedges. "Whoopee!!!" Polly cried. Fortunately, Princess Polly got won!!! She felt so happy. BUT! At the moment when she got to the goal, she found her PARENTS!! Polly forgot that the winner of this race can meet King and Queen in reward.

Polly thought "I'll just have to keep my costume on. My parents don't recognize me." However her mother had other idea. She said her daughter to get off her costume. Polly reject, but Queen was already tugging polly's clock. At the moment, the crowd gasped. Queen said "How could you do? You are so mud, andt your hair is a mess" King said "You are disgrace!" BUT! the other way, the crowd began to cheer! "Our princess has won! She is special Princess!" Polly looked at her parents. "I did win! Will you give me a wish?" After the race, she can came true her wish. The wish is she can get muddy and ride ponies and race. It was happy life for Princess Polly.

I thought if I was princess, I could stand for the restricted life. I would do like Polly. Polly is admirable and her parents are, too. If the Princess is happy, the country will be wealthy. And I hope this princess's parents understand her feelomgs and fell good through new good events with polly!!

SLAMDUNK

In my childhood, all my classmates know the comic "SLAMDUNK". This comic is written for basketball. I have never been member of basketball club, but I love it thank for this story. The story is very simple.


In this story, one unfamiliar basketball team grows up for an interscholastic athletic. At first, this team was not strong at all, but gradually they are famous because of passionate teammates. Their name is "Sakuragi Hanamiti", "Rukawa Kaede", "Akagi Takenori", "Mitui Hisashi"and "Miyagi Ryota". All of them are high school student. They love basketball rather than other team and did their best at all times. At the result, team SHOHOKU, the name of their high school, can take part in interschool tournament!!


During reading, I always feel thrilling and sometimes feel strong emotion because of the character’s enthusiasm for basketball. I can be encouraged!! And, about 4 days ago, I bought all comics book at book store!! It is a little high cost, but I didn't regret at all. This comic is valuable for me. If you have never read SLAMDUNK and want to read, please ask me. I'm sure to lend you all books free!!

My Favorite Animal

What animal do you like best? I'm often asked this question in conversation. And in this situation I always answer “I like cats very much.” It is because there are new cat in my family. I want to introduce my favorite animal, cat named Siro.


Siro was a stray cat which lives near my house. At first, Siro often was afraid of us. When I opened the windows or doors, he ran away soon. However all members of my family like Siro because he has very cute eyes and face. And after three months passed, we began to give Siro some cat food. Siro is very honest, so soon Siro can be on good term with us. From then when we open the windows, Siro runs to us soon! In this way, the living life started.


I usually live in Kumamoto because of university life, so I can meet Siro only when I get back to Kagoshima. In this term my father and mother take care of Siro. While I am in Kumamoto, my father and mother became better friends with Siro. In my surprised, Siro started live in our house! Especially my father doesn’t like to enter animal his house, but it was my father that began to welcome Siro. My father is silent a little and impassive, but when he is with Siro, he always has smile. Sometimes, my father and Siro sleep together. My mother and I are happy to see their sleeping.


Why did we name Siro? Is he White cat? In fact, Siro is Black cat! At first we call him Kuro. However he doesn’t react. So we try to call him Siro, and he reacts. We were surprised, and we liked Siro more than then. My parents are living together. My brother and I are living in other places, so sometimes they might feel sad. I want Siro to encourage my parents.

When I was a child, I often thought in place of toys or other goods. Now, I don't do that, but through this book I could remember the kind feelings. Through this story you can feel kind, I think.

This is one pancake's story. One day, a mother with seven children made pancake for breakfast.
All children want to eat pancake, but the pancake don't want to be eaten. So, he jumped right out of the pan and rolled out of door. "Come back!!" All members of family called and went running after it. The pancake rolled through garden, park, field, farmyard and bushes. Before he knows, dogs, rabbit, duck, cat and goat are also chasing behind! Pancake kept running.
However, when he was running in a forest, one clever pig found the running pancake, and told him that if you want, I could help you from them who want to eat you! The pancake believed the pig's word. However it is pig's strategy. At the moment the pancake got to pig, pancake was caught and eaten!!

It the end the pancake was eaten, but he really want to be eaten. If you can be in the place of pancake, hoe do you think for being eaten? It might be painful or scary. Putting myself in somebody place is a little different. In this book, you can put yourself in pancake place. However in daily life we sometimes should put ourselves in somebody place. It is very important. I could re-check the importance of putting in others place.

IKIGAMI

Do you know this title? It is the title of Japanese movie. Last summer I watched this movie at the theater and about 10 months ago, I found the DVD of this movie. Usually I don't rent DVD which I have already watched as movie, but I wanted rent by all mean. This movie is meaningful so much.


The story took place in one country that is the same as Japan. There is a strange law in this country. It is called "The law for keeping the property"(国家繁栄維持法) By this law, some young men is killed for property of the country. Through the death of young, the other people can feel the importance of life. The people in this world have to be inoculated when they enter the elementary school. Through this inoculate, one out of a thousand people get a nano capsule. This capsule is going to burst in his heart when he grow up to 18~24. This means the his death. And these men get a paper from government. The paper is the previous note of death, commonly known as IKIGAMI(逝紙).

The people will die in 24 hours for property of their country. Who do you live the last 24 hours for? The main character is one man. His name is Kengo Fujimoto. He was not killed by IKIGAMI, so he could become 25 years old. His job is to take the IKIGAMI to the victim's home. He takes three IKIGAMIs to three people. One is for a musician. One is for a young man who refuses to go out. And one is kind brother who tries to help his blind sister. Each person grieves their destiny, cry "I want to live!", and die...


During watching this movie, I couldn't help weeping despite second watching. It is so cruel, but I can find the meaning of living. If I get the IKIGAMI, what will I do? I can't help thinking about that. What is the nobility of our lives? If you have some questions as this, you should watch this movie.

Women Only Car

Do you know "Women Only Car"?? I have never seen this car in Kagoshima and Kumamoto. But I went to Osaka, I found the car!! Without my realizing, I took pictures. It is mark at one station. The train stops at this mark.

Why did people distinguished between all passengers using car and women only car?? This is because of many sexual assaulters. To obstruct these matters the member of JR or other railway company decided to invent women only car. If there are only women in the car, no sexual assaulters happen.

However, is it right?? I have watched one picture. In the picture, some women sit down relaxed. However, in spite of the car, in the other car so many men jostle against one another!! When I saw this picture, I couldn't stop it is inequality. To take away molester of women, at first, all people change their idea. Because of a handful bad people, almost men have trouble! It is cruel!! How do you think about this??

Memory of Golden Week!!

How did you spend your Golden Week? I hear it is only Japan to have Golden Week. I am happy because I can have time to spend with my family. Usually, people spend their holidays going somewhere with their family of friends. However, I can't do like it. Sadly, my grandfather was dead. He is my mother's father. He lives in Gunma, so I can meet him at all. I met him when I was 12 years old. It was last time. I was so sad, but he was very good grandfather.


As you see my golden week started with sadness, but it is not only. After the funeral, I went to Osaka with my family. At first we are not feel to visit somewhere. However my aunt's word changed our feelings. "Have good holidays!! Your grandfather wishes your smile, I think."
We agreed each other and went to Osaka where my brother lives.


Visiting Osaka with all members is first time. My hometown, Kagoshima, is away from Osaka, so we cannot meet easily. I thought this is chance which my grandfather gave us.
We went many tourist places. For example, Doutonboli, Tutenkaku, Osaka castle, Nanba and so on. I ate Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki so much. My height will increase!!! I have to lose weight.


Fun time pasts so fast! I really didn’t want to go back to Kumamoto. In only 5 holidays I experienced so many things. It is last chance to go somewhere with family, but I want to value this time and our future.

BR1-3 Stories Of GHOSTS

I don't like to be frightened. So, I don't want to watch horror movie or books. I can't stand to be alone in darkness. In spite of this my character, I decided to write book review of ghost. Why? Because the pictures of this book is very cute!! The drawing of cover is ghost, but they are not freighting at all. "I can read this with fun!!" I thought and concentrated on stories.



The story was like a comedy. The main character is ghosts who live in Shiverham Hall. Shilverham Hall is a hotel with a difference. All guests were dead. However all ghost spend good time in this hotel. However, one man named Mr. Slate tried to brake this happy life. Mr. Slate tried to buy all buildings of Shilverham Hall and rebuild for living people hotel. All ghostｓ disagree to this idea, and they make up their mind to make Mr. Slate left from their hall. Ghosts shock their enemy, but Slate makes fun of it. Unfortunatery, he said "There are very interesting ghost! It is big key for success!! People would like to visit my hotel thank for these ghost!!!" All of ghost are puzzled.
However, the moment Mr. Slate sees one woman ghost, he can say nothing. "Don't you recognize me, Mr. Slate??" woman ghost named Mabel said. Mr. Slate said with fear "You WERE my grant aunt!!!" the face turned to blue and Mr. Slate shouted "I've changed my mind....see you!!!" He run out. Ghost could the wonderful space back.


If I were Mr.Slate, I could spend with ghost! I'm sure to get home soon!! I respect Mr, Slate. But, why did he pass away because of his aunt's ghost?? I have no answer, but I was happy that the world of ghost is no broken. Ghosts in this book are very cheerful. I wish ghosts in our world are also cheerful.

New My Friend

In my childhood, I always played with GAMEBOY. I had two of them. And because of this my bad hobby, I got my eyes bad. After graduated from the elementary school I stopped using the game. I have not use for about 8 years from then.

However, recently I can't stop thinking about new game machine. I often listen about new one, for example, PSP or DS. Fortunately, I could get more salary　of part-time job than usual. I decided to buy new game, DS. In additional to this, I bought new game software. It is for TOEIC test. Thanks for this software, I can study for TOEIC whenever I want to. This software has many functions, words, grammar, reading and so on. If I don't have much time for study, I can do training in a few minutes. I would like to get higher score with this new game!!

Joyfull's Cake

How many times do you go to Joyfull in a week? I think it is at least one times. However, I went 4 times in this week!! Why? Because of wonderful Cake!! The picture is chocolate cake. This is the best cake for me in Joyfull. When I go, I always order this cake.


I went 4 times in this week. I could eat the cake 4 times!! But the more I eat cake, the more weight I got. I have to stop eating too much cake. I love sweets, so I want to eat cake only one time in a week.

ARTE MANDOLINISTICA

Last spring vacation, I went to Osaka for mandolin musical concert. The picture is
the poster. The mandolin orchestra's name is ARTE MANDOLINISTICA.
ARTE means music. This orchestra has more 100 members. The scale is so big! Furthermore, all members are good at mandolin. ARTE is one of representative mandolin orchestra in Japan. The skill is excellent. I needed 4000 yen for this concert, but I didn't feel it is waste.


This spring, I got a DVD of this concert. I can listen that wonderful mandolin music!! I am very happy because I can feel as if I am in concert hall of last spring. I watch this DVD at every morning and night. In my head, music played in the concert is always playing. If I have much money, I wanna go Tokyo or Kyoto for listening music of ARTE MANDOLINISTICA.

BR1-2 Treasure Island

When I was young, I loved adventure story. I often read these kinds of stories and movies. After matriculating university, I don't have much chance. Fortunately, for this book review, I found very exciting English book. I would like to introduce this book.

The main character is a little boy named Jim Hawkins. One day, Jim met a captain named Billy Bones. He is quiet spoken man, but he has big secret. It is the map which shows the place of treasures. Billy is chased by another pirate because of this secret. Jim thought Billy is so sad and decided to help him. However, one night, Billy was injured by enemy. Unfortunately, the map of treasure was stolen. Jim and Billy gather partners and decide to follow the pirates who stole Billy's map.


I felt a little wishfully after finished reading. I love adventure movie, for example, Indie Johns and The Mummy. We can read these stories in books, too. We can feel thrilling both watching movie and reading book. Both of them include storing bonds of characters. In this book, you can find strong and wonderful bonds between Jim and Billy. There are some difficult English words, but never give up! After reading, you would like to watch adventure movie!!

My Treasures

I have two treasures. One is my family and the other is my musical instrument. I'm going to explain about my two treasures.


First, I love my family. Before I began living by myself, I don't like family. I have to back home on time, and if I am not punctual, I'm always scolded. During my high school life, I hoped to live alone in another prefecture. However, after starting school, I sometimes miss my family. I realized the importance of my family. In summer vacation or long holidays, I go back to Kagoshima. Sometimes, I don't like to live alone in Kumamoto because classes and part time jobs. But I can feel better when I see my family in Kagoshima. I rethink I have to keep going to the end. My family is the source of my energy.


Second, I explain my other treasure. It's Mandolin cello. Cello is the symbol of my university life. To buy this treasure was a little hard for me, but I couldn't give up. My cello is also the symbol of my effort. When I was freshman and sophomore, I spend my all time to play cello. At a result, I lost some credits. One of them is this writing credit!! However! At last I've advanced to junior. I have to think about not only another credits but also employment. I would like to stop thinking only mandolin cello.


It is good to value own treasures, but it's not all. Time is money. I must value my remaining time. Before starting new school time, I set the year's target.

Welcome To Mandolin Club!!!

For me, Mandolin club is the symbol of my university life. I love Mandolin Cello and all members of Mandolin club. If I have problems of class or part time job, I can get better with Cello. And I am encouraged by friends. I always think I want to hold this happiness in common with others.

Fortunately, I have opportunities to get new members. It is called Orientation for freshman. During this term, all circles can urge freshman to own club. We can encourage new member during only this term. It is very hard time for not only freshman but also all club members. Thanks for our effort, 10 new members enter Mandolin club. The result of 10 new members is better, and we are so happy. We welcome all of them and I want to give good chance as a senior.

BR1-1 Stories Of DOGS

This book has three stories of dogs.

At chapter 1, a dog named Sprite was energetic. Sprite was going to take part in the dog contest. However, before the show, Sprite was stepped his paw by a man, and get dirty and smelly. Because of this happening, he lost in the contest. But, at the end of the show, a judge cried that the gold cup had gone. At the moment, Sprite found a strange man who stepped his paw. Sprite run to the man and the gold cup felt out of his coat. Sprite won first prize for catching thief. Sprite got happy at last.

So many brave dogs were at chapter 2 and 3, too. I can found not only the brave acts of dogs but also deep bond between dogs and owners. Dogs are famous for the honesty for owners. The dogs in this story are so honesty, too. Thanks to this honesty, Dogs could catch scoundrel. And the owners love their dogs. They believe what their dogs do. We are not able to understand all idea of dogs. However the owner tried to understand. I was so impressed the bonds.
Now, I have no pets. Someday, I want to have a pet. If I have a opportunity, I would like to own a dogs. And I want to get strong bond between me and the dog.

First, I’ve live alone in Kumamoto for about three years. These days I don’t get back to my hometown, Kagoshima. So I’m really happy to be with my member. Sometimes, I might do selfish activities because I have lived by myself for a long time. If you find my actions selfish, please scold me.

Second, I’m going to take my new family to your country. My new family is not people. It’s a musical instrument. Do you know what a mandolin cello is? Mandolon cello has same scale to cello. The looks like a guitar. My university, Kumamoto Gakuen University, has a mandolin club. When I was a freshman, I entered the mandolin club. The members don’t have to buy their instrument because the club already has many. However I have my own instrument. I wanted my own instrument at any cost. To buy my own mandolon cello is so hard because of the cost. I did many part time jobs and saved much money for me cello. I want you to listen to my music. I’ll practice some music for you. Please look forward to the beautiful tune of mandolon cello.

Third, I love the history of the world and Japan. I can study about Japanese history in my country, but I can learn about world history only in books or data collections. The purpose of this homestay is to see many historic structures in your country. I have a favor to ask you. Would you like to take me to historic structures in your country during my homestay? I really want to see history live.

January 28th I finishied all the tests! At last my life as a sophomopr had finished!! The spring vacation started. I have many plans that I'd like to do. THE SAD PAST


In the Civil War, President Lincorn was being deeply immersed in thought.


"We are people!"


The boy's voice is brought back. This is the last words of him. He was getting weak in Lincorn's sight, but Lincorn couldn't do anything.


The past Lincorn cannot efface is the death of a friend, Tom.


When Lincorn was six years old, he met Tom for the first time. Tom was a slave who was employed by Abraham family. At first, Lincorn was frightened by Tom. Tom was nine years older than Lincorn, and he spoke a little different language, and he was a black. However, Tom was so kind. Tom knows many things Lincorn didn't know. For example, he told about his village and nature of Africa. Then Lincorn began to like Tom. Lincorn felt Tom to be brother. When Lincorn worried about friends and study, Tom heard him and gave advice. In the front of Lincorn, Tom always smiled.

However, the smile didn't keep forever.

One day, Lincorn's mother said.
"Don't talk with Tom."
"Why?"
"Because Tom is slave. If you are with him, you will be bad boy."
"But, Tom is so kind. He told me many things I don't know."
"Anyway, you must not talk with Tom. If you are woth Tom, your father never permit you."
Lincorn cannot be persuaded.

"We are slave, so it cannot be helped."
When Lincorn said this to Tom, he said.
"But I am person. Never forget, Lincorn."
Tom looked sadly.
Lincorn worried about his parents, but he continued to talk with Tom secretly.

However, at last, the secret was out.

"I told you not to talk with my son!"

It was Lincorn's father that shouted. The moment he saw Lincorn and Tom, he seized Tom by the lapel.
"Stop, Daddy! Stop! Stop!! Tom is not guilty!"
Confusedly, Lincorn tried to stop. However, his father interrupted him.
“Shut up! Do not hear this man like a worm! It doesn't know anything!!
The moment Tom heard the words, the expression of his eyes changed. Lincorn had never seen terrible eyes like that.
“I’m not a worm, I’m a person!”
It was the first time when Tom resisted. Lincorn’s father never forgave Tom. In front of Lincorn, Tom was beaten again and again. Lincorn tried to stop tearfully, but he could only see tom getting weak.
“We are people!”
Tom cried out, and died.

Tom was thrown away in the forest like a worm……….

“I will make them people.”
Lincorn mutterd and determined to declare the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863.

The Feeling for Writing IV

I could get some opportunities for thinking about by myself. We always think some things in Japanese. However, in Writing Ⅳ I wrote in English. It is a little difficult, but I could make the most of this chance in other English class, Listening or Speaking. And I was lucky to check my spelling or grammar. I usually used Microsoft Word, but sometimes teacher or other students taught me. I was able to improve my grammatical skills.


Furthermore I could know what other students think. Using Blog is convenient to know ideas each other. In class I could check other student’s blog and leave comments. This opportunity is good for getting other deepen ideas. And to get ideas I read some English book or movie. In my daily life I don’t read or listen English, so it was good to get chance to touch many type English.


In writing Ⅳ, I learned the importance to know my and other ideas and English skill. However, I can’t write essays without dictionary. I need more vocabulary. When I’m junior, I would like to take TOEIC test a number of times. Next spring term, I’m going to take this class again. So I aim at getting more vocabulary and idiom. I don’t know if we use blog and computer in next class, I want to value the opportunity to use English.

My Memories of Winter Vacation ~ Part 4 ~

During Winter Vacation, I came back to Kagoahima. And I spent vacation with my parents. At New Year, I went to a Korean barbecue restaurant with family. My father and mother usually say "After your leaving home, we don't go somewhere to eat so much. It is the first time in a long time." I was a little happy and a little sad. I can't explain my this feeling an that time.
